Calling all Lincoln Leopards! Lincoln PTA proudly presents… STEAM Fair 2019 on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 5:30-7:30pm.
You may be familiar with the traditional Science Fair format. Well, kick it up a notch and you have a STEAM Fair. The Lincoln PTA sponsored STEAM Fair 2019 is a chance for students to pick their favorite letter in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics) and present a project using principles they have researched and learned within that discipline of study.
Major differences between STEAM Fair 2019 and previous years’ Science Fairs are that this will be a one night, all school (grades K-5) event. In addition, depending on the number of participants, we may use the GLC and the art rooms, in addition to the MP Room, to accommodate all projects. With these tweaks, our hope is to encourage greater participation, and to foster and appreciate a variety of interests at our school.
STEAM Fair 2019 is not a competition and no awards or prizes will be awarded. Our number one goal is for students to learn and to have fun.
