These wonderful programs include:

Back to School Teacher’s Luncheon
PTA sponsors a lunch for teachers returning to a new school year.  This event is typically the Friday prior to the start of school.

Welcome Back Coffee
This fun community-building event is held on the first day of school to provide information about the PTA and welcome parents back to a new school year.  Coffee and pastries are provided during the short meeting in the MP room immediately after morning drop off.

Pastries for Parents
This fun community-building event is held in the fall at the beginning of the school year to welcome back parents and students to a new school year.

Book Fair
This PTA event raises approximately $3,000 each year to benefit the school library and computer lab.

Math Olympiad
The program is affiliated with Math Olympiads for Elementary and Middle School (moems.org). Students attend Math Olympiad coaching sessions at Lincoln outside of school hours for preparation of 5 national contests administered monthly from November to March. Each contest consists of five non-routine problems and every problem requires careful mathematical thinking. Awards are given to 4th and 5th grade teams and individuals.

PTA Reflections Contest
Each year the the Lincoln PTA promotes and supports student participation in the national PTA Reflections contest. This contest provides the opportunity for students to express themselves creatively and receive recognition.

Project Cornerstone
Project Cornerstone is an important program that teaches students positive relationships, opportunities, values, and skills that provide the foundation for a healthy, successful future.  Visit the Project Cornerstone page for more information on this program.

Red Ribbon Day
The PTA organizes the “Red Ribbon Day” which builds student awareness for the dangers of alcohol, drugs and tobacco.  Red Ribbon Day is typically a day in October.

Holiday Campaign
Each year the PTA collects money to support Lincoln families in need.

STEAM Fair (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math)
PTA sponsors and coordinates this incredible event for students to showcase and present their own science, technology, engineering, arts or math project.  Students gain new invaluable knowledge on their projects’ concepts as well as skills in presenting.  The Lincoln community enjoys a night of knowledge and fun.  This event is typically held in March.

Staff/Teacher Appreciation Week
The PTA coordinates Staff/Teacher Appreciation Week in April and provides breakfast, dinner and other school-wide activities during the week to honor and show appreciation to the wonderful staff and teachers at Lincoln.

Room Parent Volunteers
The PTA coordinates room parent volunteers to ensure class parties are planned and executed.

Yearbook
Parent volunteers design and publish the Lincoln Year Book.

Previous Programs

Family Science Night with Lawrence Hall of Science
PTA sponsors a night of science with Lawrence Hall of Science. Parents and students are invited to join in several interactive exhibits that showcases educational science concepts.  Family Science Night is typically held in February.

Festival/Halloween Harvest/Walkathon
This main PTA event fundraiser has raised up to $10,000+ and is fun for the entire family!  Scheduled around Halloween, this fun family festival has included carnival games, Haunted House, Costume Walkathon, face painting & balloons, Sharks Booth, Raffle prizes, Silent auction and much much more.  Proceeds from this event primarily funds BUSES for field trips for all grade levels as well as school equipment, school assemblies and the other PTA events listed here.

Holiday Gift Shop
Some years the PTA has sponsored a gift shop where students can shop for holiday gifts for their families.
